Heavy rains create havoc in Bollywood

Heavy rains in Mumbai have made life difficult for Bollywood's movie stars, and they complained on twitter.

Bipasha Basu's neighbourhood was flooded, making her wish for a gondola with a handsome driver. 'Surprised to step out of my house and find myself in Venice! Just need to swap my car for a Gondola and my driver for a handsome gondola guy!' she tweeted.

Ameesha Patel tweeted: 'What heavy rains. So wish I didn't have to go anywher. Killer traffik on roads. Its just madness.'

Shekhar Kapur was stuck in traffic. 'From Jute 2 airport have been on the road for 2 hours already. Mumbai breaks down in rains,' he wrote.

Jackky Bhagnani insisted that people get boats. 'ok guys all the people in mumbai get ur boats and rafts out we can pretend like we r in venice for as long as it lasts :)' he wrote.

Sandhya Mridul seemed upset with the rains. 'One night of rain and can sadly see the city falling apart already .. When will we be ready?!' she tweeted.

Chillar Party

A boy and a dog is an irresistible combination, especially if it is a motherless waif and his furry pal. 'Chillar Party', a debut feature produced by Salman Khan, scores high with getting this combo right. Not just Fatka, but the other kids are lively and life-like. This gang, which roams around on shiny bicycles, hangs out in a shed, and treats a cricket game with an enemy team like war, targets poor Fatka by being properly mean. Gangs are seriously clubby affairs, and new members have to prove their worth before being handed out joining rights : Fatka is invited in, but only after he helps wallop the other team, and Bheedu the dog becomes everyone’s well-loved mascot.

Arts / Cinema : Not just erotica!

If you think Murder 2 is all about erotica you need to hear what the lead actor Emraan Hashmi had to say on his visit to the city at Reliance Digital store, Pinnacle Mall, Dwarka along with the director Mohit Suri for the promotion of his upcoming movie. “The movie has erotic scenes in it, bolder than those in the first one, but accept it or not, it is no different than the scenario in today's world, how friends live and behave with each other, their intimacy and lifestyle. Also, the movie is not only about the bold scenes, but it has a very strong storyline that keeps you guessing and is very unpredictable. And that is how the success or failure of a movie is judged by its audience.”
